Vanessa is passionate about inspiring a more holistic patient care model in community pharmacy, one conversation at a time.
Vanessa has experience in coaching, training, and mentoring pharmacists and pharmacy teams across Australia. Vanessa specialises in supporting pharmacists to:

Vanessa has leadership experience in community pharmacy, working across various settings, and has led large-scale change management programs. Vanessa understands how expanding holistic pharmacy practice can improve professional satisfaction, team culture, business performance, and customer experiences.
Vanessa is an Integrative Pharmacist who brings a practical approach to her work. With additional qualifications in Life Coaching, Leadership and Performance Coaching, Health and Wellness Coaching, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, she is currently completing a Certificate III in Psychosomatic Therapy. Vanessa’s caring and gentle guidance will help you create professional fulfilment and achieve practice change in practical and relevant ways.

Vanessa began her career managing pharmacies for Amcal and the My Chemist Pharmacy Group and is the previous owner of Clarendon Pharmacy.
Before starting her own consulting business in 2021, Vanessa was the Learning and Development Manager at Sigma Healthcare.
During Vanessa’s time at Sigma Healthcare between 2016 – 2021, Vanessa co-developed and delivered The LEAPP Dispensary Excellence Program and The LIFT Pharmacy Performance Program for the Amcal and Guardian pharmacy network. Vanessa was also part of the leadership team designing and delivering innovative change management programs for the Amcal+ Life Clinic, E-Script Readiness, Covid Rapid Response Resources and the QCPP Resource Hub. Vanessa and her team also led the innovative development and launch of the Sigma Online Training Platform which lays the foundation for expanding the delivery of learning to over 6500 pharmacy team members across the Sigma Retail Pharmacy Network. Vanessa also successfully launched and hosted the Talking Pharmacy Podcast.

In 2024 - So far this year, Vanessa has presented at the Medici Women's Pharmacy Conference, and was a recent panelist on the AJP Webinar for Managing and Preventing Psychosocial Risks in Pharmacy.
In 2023 - Vanessa presented at APP2023 on the Gold Coast, The Medici Women's Leadership Retreat, The Pharmacy Careers Summit, The Sigma Healthcare Pharmacist Summit and was a recent panelist on the AJP Webinar for Building Resilient Workplace Cultures.
In 2010 Vanessa was a finalist for the City of Port Phillip Citizen of the Year award.
In 2019 Vanessa won the ARCHI Individual Award for Sigma Healthcare Retail team members who consistently deliver company values.
I have a beautiful little girl, Olivia who I live with in Melbourne. We love bike-riding along the beach, walking our dog and cooking together. Olivia teaches me every day how to keep bringing passion to my work, to keep finding joy in the little things and to always stay curious and open-hearted.
